  2. Mick and Hazel are proud to be the Hosts at The Plough at Leigh.
    At our Traditional Independent Pub we serve local Ales and Seasonal Food in amazing surroundings, both inside and out!
    Being Family friendly we serve a "Real Food" Children's Menu, have a playground and huge garden to let a child's body and imagination run wild!

    We host wedding ceremonies and receptions in our wonderful beamed 17th Century Barn, with casual flair, amazing seasonal food and incredible parties!

    We also offer The Barn for Corporate days with meeting facilities and delicious lunches and large free car park!
    Our Guest WiFi is available for your complimentary use.

    We may also be that perfect venue for a celebratory wake.

  3. The Pub

    Mick and his Bar Team are proud of their range of traditional draught beers and lagers. In particular the local Ales from Tonbridge Brewery and other wonderful Ales from local micro breweries of Kent enabling you to enjoy the amazing brews which are being produced in the area.
    We also have a good wine menu, by the glass and the bottle and Prosecco for the Fizz Fans!
    Our Coffee is delicious, made from Fair Trade Arabica Beans and we serve Tea by the pint or 1/2 pint mug!

    On those sunny days eat, drink and make merry in our wonderful country garden.
    We have a play area for the children and more than enough green space for a game of football, to let off steam and let the imagination run wild.

    We welcome Mans best friend, leaded, in both the pub and garden. Scooby snacks and water provided, so let them drag you here for a well earned pint (and bite to eat) after that energetic walk through the amazing countryside which surrounds us!

    Wednesday - Friday 12 noon-11pm. Food served 12-9.30pm
    Saturday either 12-3 & 6-11pm or 12-11pm or closed exclusively! So please phone us to make sure before you come:)
    Sunday 12-9pm with food served 12-7pm.

    Evening party in the barn.
    The pub shall be open all day from 12 noon until 11pm:)

  5. The Restaurant

    Our Seasonal menus do change on a regular basis so enjoy looking at our sample Menus for an idea of what treats maybe in store for you!

    When the seasons say we can, we pick, scavenge, pickle and preserve to enable us to provide you with those special homely touches.
    We bake whatever the time of year!
    During the winter months when our famous log fire is burning, take a peak up the chimney, the likely hood is we'll be smoking a side or two of salmon!

    Wednesday-Saturday Lunch12-3pm Snacks 3-6pm and Dinner 6-9.30pm
    Sunday our menu is available from 12-7pm

    The pub and restaurant are closed Mondays and Tuesdays with the exception of Bank Holidays.


  6. Weddings

    Our wonderful beamed 17th Century Barn is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. The extensive garden and hop hung traditional pub are then magnificent alternatives for your canape reception and photos before returning to the Barn for a delicious Wedding Breakfast.

    We can welcome 130 guests for a formal Wedding Breakfast and up to 200 for an evening party.

    We are happy to offer you a tailor-made package of your choice.

    Our brochure shows examples of our seasonal menus which we hope will appeal to you and give you some ideas. However everybody's Wedding Reception is unique to them, and we are totally flexible to your requirements.

  7. A Barn for All Occasions

    Our barn is ideal for all medium to large gatherings.
    With a capacity of up to 200 for a party and fork buffet, and 120 for a formally seated meal.

    Free parking for more than 100 cars.

    Weddings, Post Wedding Parties, Corporate Events, Dinner Dances, Buffets, Birthday Parties, Proms, Anniversaries...


  8. Family Friendly That's Us!

    We have a garden play area for the children and more than enough green space for a game of football, to let off steam and let the imagination run wild!
    For those quieter moments we also have drawings awaiting to be coloured in and an inside play corner.

    During the summer months we serve snacks all day and will be cooking after school teas :) - Time for Mums to put their feet up for a while!

    Our Children's Menu consists of Real but Popular food that children will enjoy or if they'd prefer to eat from the main menu we are happy to serve half portions for half the price.

    Locally made Taywell Ice creams are also now available, made from wholesome delicious ingredients.
